Pesticide Residues PT: our new proposals in 2026

Our Progetto Trieste line – Proficiency Testing for Pesticide Residues is constantly evolving to try to meet the interests of our participants.

In 2026 we will introduce two new matrices for pesticides research: green coffee and powdered rice! Alongside these important new additions, we are also re-proposing the iconic PTs and established matrices that we offer every year, ensuring the most complete analytical coverage. This cyclical nature is fundamental, allowing laboratories to maintain constant surveillance over a wide range of matrices, providing a reliable point of reference without having to source them elsewhere. The breadth of our analytical coverage is supported by the continuous feedback and requests we receive from our participants.

In general, our Pesticide Residue Proficiency Tests have a conspicuous list of molecules under study. Of these, a minimum number of molecules will be present. The presence of some of these molecules will be declared and guaranteed. The molecules declared are often derived from the input we receive from our customers and the molecules most sought after by laboratories.

• Test Material: chicken muscle, 40g x 1 sample, spiked. In case more material is needed, additional materials can be purchased at a reduced cost.
• Molecules under study: fipronil, fipronil sulfone, fluralaner, amitraz (sum of amitraz and all metabolites containing the 2,4-DMA moiety). All molecules will be present!
