In general, our Proficiency Tests for Pesticide Residues have a very conspicuous list of molecules under study. Of these, a minimum number of molecules are declared present, and for half of these, the presence is guaranteed.

PT for the research of Pesticides in pistachio (code N3704)

  • Test Material: pistachio, 1 sample of 40g, spiked
  • Analytes: Acetamiprid, Imidacloprid, Thiamethoxam, Clothianidin. All the molecules will be present.
  • Indicative concentration: < 80 ppb for all the molecules

PT for the research of Pesticides in lettuce (code VF3700)

  • Test Material: lettuce, 1 sample of 60g, spiked
  • Analytes: more than 260 molecules under study, at least 8 molecules will be present! The presence of boscalid, cypermethrin, cyproconazole, omethoate e azoxystrobin is guaranteed.
  • Indicative concentrations: < 300 ppb for all the molecules
  • Test Material will be provided lyophilized, to be reconstituted

PT for the research of Pesticides in salmon (code SF3701)

  • Test Material: salmon, 1 sample of 50g, spiked
  • Analytes: at least 5 molecules will be present! The presence of hexaflumuron, deltamethrin, cyhalothrin-lambda e HCH-A is guaranteed.
  • Indicative concentrations: < 300 ppb for all the molecules
  • Test Material will be provided lyophilized, to be reconstituted

PT for the research of Pesticides in eggs (code E3702)

  • Test Material: eggs, 1 sample 40g, spiked
  • Analytes: at least 5 molecules will be present! The presence of fipronil sulfone, aldrin, cis-chlordane e amitraz is guaranteed.
  • Indicative concentrations: < 300 ppb for all the molecules
  • Test Material will be provided lyophilized, to be reconstituted

PT for the research of Pesticides in honey (code H3703)

  • Test Material: honey, 1 sample of 70g, spiked
  • Analytes: at least 5 molecules will be present! The presence of glyphosate, coumaphos, clothianidin and amitraz is guaranteed.
  • Indicative concentrations: < 300 ppb for all the molecules

But it does not end here!

The input we receive from the market often indicates the need for new PTs for specific pesticides in foods.
In order to meet the needs of some participants, we decided to further expand our offerings for Pesticide Residues with a new PT scheduled for the Round of October 2024:

PT for the research of Pesticides in chicken muscle (code M4804)

  • Test Material: chicken muscle, 1 sample of 40g, spiked
  • Analytes: fipronil, fluralaner, amitraz. All the molecules will be present.
  • Indicative Concentration: < 300 ppb for all the molecules
  • Test Material will be provided lyophilized, to be reconstituted

  • Most of our Test Materials are lyophilized (to be analyzed after reconstitution) so as to ensure high stability even over long transports. In this way, each participant, regardless of his or her country of origin, will be assured of receiving exactly the same sample in the same condition as the other participants. This will make the assigned value obtained by consensus more reliable and the evaluation more valid.
