Test Veritas’ strategic planning ensures full analytical coverage over time
In the honey analysis sector, accurate results are essential to comply with international standards and EU regulations on veterinary drug residues (e.g., Regulation (EU) 2010/37). For ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories, participating in Proficiency Testing (PT) is the main technical tool for method validation and performance monitoring on complex matrices.
Strategic PT Rotation
Test Veritas’ program for veterinary drugs in honey follows a periodic rotation principle. This allows laboratories to test a wide range of molecules over different annual cycles without the burden of performing all tests in a single year. However, please note that the availability of a PT in one year does not guarantee its presence in the following year’s catalogue. Early planning is essential to ensure coverage of all contaminant classes required by your quality control plan or accreditation requirements.
Technical features of our PTs:
- ISO/IEC 17043 Accreditation: Programs managed under strict quality standards to support accreditation body requirements.
- Real Matrices: Use of samples that reflect the actual analytical challenges of honey.
- Operational Flexibility: Multi-year rotation allows for efficient resource management.
